“ A real escape to the country. We stayed in the Doris hut which was decked out really nicely. The interior was lovely and well furnished and equipped. We were left lots of useful information about pubs, restaurants and local walks. .....(more) "

Lowes Farm sits on the outskirts of Grindon, a pretty little village in the southern tip of the Peak District National Park.

It's a very friendly place, with a slightly slower pace of life ideal for relaxing and recharging your batteries!

Although the Farm sits in a rural position, on a hill overlooking the beautiful Manifold Valley it's only a short drive to the nearest towns.

The market town of Leek is just 8 miles away and Ashbourne only 11 miles in the other direction.  Both have interesting shops, a selection of supermarkets and a range of restaurants and coffee shops

Bakewell and Buxton are about 45 minutes away and Derby about an hour's drive.
